Since 1953, Doublejack Electric has been one of the top Electrical Contractors in Southeast, MI, starting out in the forefront of the automotive, rail, and utility sectors. Industrial electrical work at auto plants for conveyors and assembly lines were some of our first projects. Railway, drawbridges, control schemes, and communication infrastructure were other projects of our early history.

A Brief History of Our Family Owned and Operated Company
Doublejack Electric was founded by John W. Fulgenzi in 1953. He entered the electrical contracting business after working in the steel and chemical industry for many years. In 1971, his son Bruce Fulgenzi joined the company and worked together with his father until 1979 when John W. Fulgenzi retired. Bruce became president and principal owner, overseeing the company until his retirement. Bruce’s son John J. Fulgenzi joined the company in 1997 as an estimator before becoming Vice President. In 2006 Bruce's other son Joseph J. Fulgenzi, whose first efforts were in the field and in estimating, also joined Doublejack Electric. In 2016 John J. Fulgenzi became President and majority stockholder and Joseph Fulgenzi was made Vice President and stockholder. In December 2016 Bruce Fulgenzi retired, leaving his sons to continue running the company.
